Volvo beats German cars
Volvo petrol engine drives an average of 404 244 kilometers before it is scrapped in the Netherlands. Those with a diesel engine gets even average 681 671 kilometers on the clock. This is a car of the Swedish brand last longer than from any other brand. The now bankrupt Swedish Saab is in the 'petrol list in second place. With German cars is relatively much shorter drive. According to figures from website Autoverleden.nl on occasions in the Netherlands.
In calculating the figures looked at how many kilometers a car of a particular make driving average before it is not economically profitable to have maintained the car. That German car brands such as Volkswagen and Opel low on the list, may be claimed as the Autoverleden.nl maintenance at dealers of these brands are high.
The German Mercedes-Benz stands or in the top three in both lists. The brand is recognized worldwide as a sustainable and is therefore popular with large users such as taxi companies. Furthermore, the US brands Chevrolet and Chrysler do well in the gasoline range.
